The Method

Every session is one-to-one and shaped around you — your level, your goals, your pace, and the way you learn best.

There is no fixed curriculum to force you through. Instead, we start from where you are and build from there, with patience, curiosity, and clear direction.

Every lesson is prepared for the person in front of me rather than taken from a template. We talk, read, write, question, practise, and return to what matters until it becomes clear and truly yours.

Between sessions, your notes, documents, and feedback are kept in a private atelier that travels with you, allowing your learning to remain continuous and connected from one lesson to the next.

Experience built over time

I have been teaching for six years, working with students of different ages, backgrounds, levels, and goals.

Over time, teaching has become far more than simply an activity. It has taught me to pay attention to the person in front of me: how they learn, what motivates them, where they hesitate, and what helps an idea finally click.

My experience has reinforced something I strongly believe in: curiosity, listening, patience, and open-mindedness are essential to meaningful learning. My own path across different cultures, disciplines, and experiences has shaped the same desire to discover, understand, and share.

Today, I bring that experience into every lesson — with high standards, genuine flexibility, and a deeply personal approach.

About Victoria

A path between two cultures

Franco-British, I grew up between France and the United Kingdom, experiencing both education systems from an early age.

I completed the International Option of the Baccalauréat (OIB), British section, at an international lycée in France, before continuing my studies in the United Kingdom. I went on to earn a degree in Sociology and Criminology from the University of Exeter.

Moving between two countries and educational systems gave me a natural ease in both French and English, as well as a broader perspective on education, culture, and the different ways people understand the world.

It also nurtured a lasting interest in the humanities, literature, language, and the ways in which societies and individuals are shaped by their environments.

A path guided by curiosity

Curiosity has always been an important part of the way I learn and work. I am particularly drawn to languages, the humanities, literature, and the ideas that help us better understand people and societies.

My studies in Sociology and Criminology deepened these interests, while living and travelling in different environments strengthened my appreciation for discovery, conversation, and different perspectives.

Writing also has an important place in my life. I am currently working on a book project, continuing an interest in words, ideas, and transmission that has accompanied me for many years.

Why 'L'Atelier du Tutorat'?

L'Atelier du Tutorat takes its name from the idea of an atelier: a place where knowledge, skills, and ideas are developed through practice, guidance, and exchange.

An atelier is different from a traditional classroom. It is a space where you do not simply receive knowledge — you work with it. You ask questions, try things, make connections, make mistakes, and gradually develop your own understanding.

That is the spirit behind L'Atelier du Tutorat. Each lesson is a shared piece of work, shaped around the student and the subject at hand.

The name reflects a simple belief: learning is not something that should simply be delivered to you. It is something you build and make your own — one thoughtful session at a time.
